"At Oakmead College of Technology we put students and their learning at the heart of everything we do. Our aim is to provide a centre of educational excellence at the hub of the local community, where all students can grow and develop the skills and aptitudes needed in a rapidly changing 21st Century world.
We are committed to inclusion and personalisation to enable all students to succeed. To that end all students are valued and respected and we have developed an innovative and flexible curriculum to support them at every stage from 11 to 19 years of age.
We have excellent Special Needs facilities and our commitment is to fully meet all student needs, whether for additional help with learning, or to stretch and develop a particular gift or talent. As a full service extended school we value the support of the local community and aim to ensure that the college is a thriving and positive part of that community.
We welcome parents and carers into our community through the usual parents’ evenings and consultation days, as well as social events, community projects and family activities".
